FAQ

  • I’M A BRAND NEW BEGINNER, WHAT CLASS SHOULD I ATTEND FIRST?

In this program, you will learn the core techniques of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in a fun, safe, and cooperative environment. You can start the program at any time and participate in any class without previous experience and, since safety is our number one concern, there is no competitive sparring in this program. This class follows a strict curriculum that is vital to the progression of the Jiu-Jitsu journey.

  • WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO MY FIRST SESSION?

If you booked a Gi session and you don’t own any JiuJitsu apparel, we will sort that for you. Our team will lend a JiuJitsu Gi to your first classes at no cost. If you are attending our Grappling classes and you don’t own a NoGi kit, please wear a t-shirt and shorts (without zippers) to your first session.

  • WHAT AM I GOING TO LEARN ON MY FIRS CLASS?

The Principles of Self Defense. You will learn the essential movements and concepts needed to participate in group classes quickly and effectively in private or semi-private sessions. In addition, you gain self-confidence, raise your self-esteem and improve your focus and your concentration. And yet it leaves the stress and all the headache of work on the outside of the mat as you seek to overcome your own limits. And all this, in an environment where you find people with characteristics very similar to yours, with similar goals. An excellent opportunity to increase your circle of friendships.
